Synoptic Process™: Blend of Art and Science

Relying on decades of industry experience and functional expertise, Mercati moves beyond the ordinary, expected solutions to create new insights, empower our clients, and bring forward real, visible results. We partner with our clients to deliver individualized solutions that solve their most significant challenges and that also create a lasting, relevant competitive advantage for them.

The Mercati Synoptic Process™ consists of a 3-step approach which we call the POV Methodology. By using this, we come to a unified approach to planning, development, and execution. We create a Synoptic View of your project. Mercati's Synoptic View is our proprietary strategic planning process. It is unique in that we begin the planning process by gathering a team of our best business "environment" and technology experts to build functional and profitable solutions. We work together, experts with different backgrounds, to arrive at one, viable, and actionable view.

The Mercati Synoptic Process follows a 3-step methodology:

People are the ultimate end users

Who are your customers? What are their specific needs? What are their technology use habits? Our process starts with each member of the team assessing the market and the client's organization. We talk to your end-users. We immerse ourselves in your strategic questions and then assess the trends, the competition, exogenous market factors. We confirm what you, as the client, are expecting from the solution.

Objectives are established

In this stage of the process, our team becomes a pathfinder, developing a way forward based on the previous step. Functionality, practicality, target identification, technology applicability, and end results are critically assessed. The solution takes shape. By assimilating the input of all team members, a solid and results-driven plan is forged.

Viewing the right strategy, the right technology solution and the results

Once the client has approved the strategic plan, the team stays together for the execution of the solution, viewing many different technologies, maintaining a singular POV. Testing prototypes are created. Systems are put in place to assure that all elements of the plan are congruent and on time. Once the solution is operational, feedback is provided to be sensitive to changing market conditions, anticipated or not. In actuality, the finish line continually moves into the future, assuring the client of continued growth.
